Zi Yean Restaurant

With classic oldies from singers like Teresa Teng and Fong Fei-Fei playing in the background, antique round marble top tables and high back wooden chairs in the dining space, we felt like we had time traveled to the 70s dining in a traditional Dim Sum Teahouse.

We ordered a few "must-have" dim sum and they were authentic and reasonably priced. On top of the dim sum menu, other Tze Char dishes are available too as the Teahouse shared a common kitchen with a side-by-side restaurant under the same name and management.

While we did not see dim sum carts being wheeled around and stopped for us to pick all our favourite dim sum choices (we picked our choices using a paper form ☺️), the overall dining experience was still full of old school charm and nostalgia. Love it.
