When I couldn't make up my mind what to eat in my hood, this Bak Chor Mee stall located at the junction of Seng Poh Road and Eng Watt Street would be one of my top choices.

Do not be deceived by the lack of queue in front of the noodle stall. On this weekday, we waited close to an hour after placing order for our bowls of Bak Chor Mee (BCM)!
Traditional Joo Chiat Prawn Mee
Located in the same coffeeshop as the Joo Chiat Fried Kway Teow stall is this old-school prawn noodle stall which also started operation in the 1950s, selling prawn mee soup on a trishaw around Joo Chiat area.
